Cameroonian-born Emilia Epeti Miki is the Founder/CEO of Denis Miki Foundation and Efeti Ventures. As a Humanitarian, Transformational Speaker and Writer, Public Policist and Social Entrepreneur, Emily is a Peace Builder at Mediators Beyond Borders International, an Obama Foundation African Leader, a Mandela Washington Fellow, YALI Connect Camp alumni and Emerging Leader, Queen’s Young Leader, World Pulse Change Maker and Voices of Our Future Leader, Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society. She holds a Masters of Arts in International Relations option International Communication and Public Action. She is an Actress and Producer with the Cameroon Film Industry. Her projects have touched over 6 out of the 10 regions of Cameroon in the areas of health, education, countering violent extremism, food security, talent promotion, and wealth creation.
Through Denis Miki Foundation (DMF), Emily has in the last 5 years worked with over 10 rural communities, 6 urban communities and now working at a national level in Cameroon. Our work has substantially impacted the lives of over 7000 women, 15000 youth and 600 children.
We now have 3 offices in Cameroon and work with UN Missions in implementing and providing development and humanitarian support to under-privileged persons and those living in under-served communities. This has made it possible for several members of our team to win both national and international awards and grants to support the work we do in local communities in Cameroon.
